Les Namingha has, over the years, created exciting variations in his pottery with new painting and technical styles. This jar has a round body and an elongated neck.  The piece is fully painted.  Around the jar are stars intermixed with Siyatki birds. The birds are each painted with a variety of Hopi-Tewa designs.  The stars and orbital lines flow across the background.  Below the shoulder are rows of geometric cloud and rain designs.  It is an exciting and detailed jar!  The piece is signed on the bottom, “Les Namingha”.
