This is a visually striking jar by Les Namingha.  The jar has a metallic appearance on the top and bottom. The central band is painted with a series of Hopi feathers.  Each of the sections has a different stylized feather as the design.  The imagery includes his intricate pointillism.  The shape works perfectly on this piece as the complexity of the design flows from panel to panel.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Les Namingha  2020”.
