Les Namingha has, over the years, creatively changed his pottery with new painting and technical styles. This jar combines both Hopi and Zuni designs. The jar is coil-built and painted with acrylic. There are Hopi-Tewa eagle tails. There are small colorful dots that are inspired by the Zuni Shaluwitsi (Fire) katsina. As Les is both Zuni and Hopi, he often combines designs from both Native cultures. The jar is signed, “Les Namingha”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, ,or repair.
