Reva Polacca Nampeyo is a great-granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano and a granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo. Her father, Harold Polacca, was a son of Fannie. She is a sister of noted potters Clinton Polacca and Vernica Polacca Nampeyo.  This jar has a wide shoulder and a short neck. The piece is painted with bee-weed and red clay slip. It has a classic bat wing design in four sections. They are painted with thin lines.  The jar is signed, “Reva Polacca Nampeyo”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
