This is a very intricately designed bowl by Geri Naranjo.  She is a sister of Dolores Curran and the mother of Monica Romero and Kevin Naranjo.  The piece is larger for her work and it has been “two-toned” black and sienna on the top. There is an etched avanyu around the neck of the bowl.  Below are complex feathers, cloud and rain designs. The entire bottom is also fully designed with feather and lightning designs!  Note how very delicate the designs are etched into the clay on this piece! It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Geri Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
