This an elegant shaped water jar by Geri Naranjo.  It has a round shoulder and an elongated neck.  The neck is fully polished. The shoulder of the jar has etched feathers, avanyu, and rain designs.  Note how tightly all the designs are etched into the clay! The jar is polished to a glassy black and traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Geri Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
