Gracie Naranjo (1938-2002) was married to Edward Naranjo, a son of Christina Naranjo.  She was known for her highly polished pottery.  This bowl is round in shape and has carving on two sides. One side has a rainbow and mountain pattern and the other clouds and mesa designs.  The remainder is fully polished.  Note how she used the negative space from the base to create the design, much like the work of Christina Naranjo or her daughters.  It is deeply carved and highly polished.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Gracie Naranjo”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
