Naranjo, Robert G. – Black and Sienna Bowl with Corn Plants (1997)

This small bowl by Robert G. Naranjo (1943-2021) is from 1997.  Robert is the son of Juan and Mollie Naranjo.   This bowl is highly polished and two-toned black and sienna.  The piece is etched with corn plants and tiny Flute Players near the base of the corn. Separating the corn plants are small butterflies.  Note the complexity of the designs on a piece this size!  The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Robert Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.

This bowl by Robert Naranjo (b. 1943) is from 1999.  Robert is the son of Juan and Mollie Naranjo.  This bowl is highly polished and two-toned black and sienna with the rim being a lighter color. The bowl is etched with a Buffalo Dance Scene.  There are six dancers, both male and female.  There is also a single buffalo.  Note around the shoulder the small buffalo tracks!  The remainder of the piece is highly polished. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Robert Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
