Monica Narnajo is a daughter of noted potter Geri Naranjo, a sister of Kevin Naranjo, and a niece of Dolores Curran.  She is known for her very detailed miniature pottery.  This jar is fully polished.  It is etched with an avanyu encircling the piece.  Below the avanyu is a feather pattern.  It is highly polished and fired a glassy black.  It is signed on the bottom, “Monica Naranjo”.
