Charlotte Naranjo-Suina (1936-2010) was a daughter of Nicolasa Naranjo and a sister of Roberta Naranjo. She was married to Joseph Suina and the mother of Joseph, Deborah, and Dorothy Suina. This is a classic piece of her pottery. It is coil-built, stone polished, and painted. The bowl has an avanyu encircling the bowl with a cloud pattern around the rim. It is a striking design and creative. The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Charlotte S.”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
