Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This is one of his larger pieces. It is round and is painted with bee-weed (black) and deep red clay. The piece is VERY tightly painted with Hopi-style eagle tail, bird wing, and geometric patterns. Note all the thin lines and delicate imagery. It is signed on the bottom, “Thomas Natseway”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
