Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This small jar a bird effigy head. The handle for the “pitcher” is twisted. The body of the jar is rounded out in six melon ribs. The top of the ribs are painted with a feather design. There is a lot of detail and dimension in this piece. It is signed on the bottom, “Thomas Natseway”.
