Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece has two butterflies in relief on the sides of the jar. The wings of the butterflies are the ‘legs” of the jar!  The lid is a sculpted butterfly on a flower.  It is definitely a very unusual piece by Thomas.  It is detailed and precise.  The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
