Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece is inspired by the round lidded vessels from Chaco. This piece is rounded out in a circle and the body is painted with rain and lighting geometric patterns. The lid is a feathered avanyu. Take a closer look and note how each feather is carved and rounded out! The lid fits into the circular body. The piece is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
