Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece has a Katsina figure with a carved shawl. The shawl is painted with corn plants and dragonflies. The headdress has feathers that are each CARVED into the clay. It is detailed and precise. The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
