Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The jar is inspired by Hopi-Tewa pottery.  It is painted a brownish red and then the design is painted onto the surface.  There is a very tightly designed eagle tail pattern that extends over the side.  The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
