Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This miniature is a wide-shoulder flat-top jar.  On the top of the jar, it is painted with six mini butterflies.  There are three male and three female butterflies on the top.  The lid is carved in the shape of a butterfly and it is painted differently on each side.  Amazing piece in detail of design, shape, and size.  It is signed on the bottom, “Thomas Nasteway”.
