Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The piece has a Katsina figure with a carved shawl. The shawl is painted with a spiraling feather design. The lid is an Owl Katsina. It is detailed and precise in the painted lines. The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
