Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This miniature is wonderfully complex in design and style. The jar and lid are both painted with a triangular mountain design.  It is an image that is classic in both Acoma and Laguna pottery.  There are eight rows of design!  The top of the lid is painted with a fineline star pattern.  Check out the thin lines on the top.  It is amazing for the size!  It is signed on the bottom, “Thomas Nasteway”.   It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
