.5"w x .75"h

$ 200.00

Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery.  Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide!  This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well recognized for miniatures. The jar has three flat sides, creating a triangle.  Each side is painted with a design taken from Hopi tiles. There is a Butterfly Maiden, a Hopi Maiden, and a Hemis Katsina.  They are painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay slips. The top is also painted with rain designs.  The piece is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
