Dolly Joe Navasie is best known by her name White Swann. She is the daughter of Eunice “Fawn” Navasie and a sister of Dawn and Fawn Navasie. This small bowl is coil built and painted with bee-weed (black). The piece has a female rain figure in the center. It was traditionally fired to create the blushes on the surface. It is signed on the bottom, “White Swann”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
