Grace Navasie is a daughter of noted potter Joy “Frogwoman” Navasie. This bowl has a high shoulder and a flat top.  The bowl is painted with bee-weed (black) and red clay slip which is polished in areas. The design has two sections with a bird and flower, and two sections with a spiraling bird and bird tail.  The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay with the Frog Hallmark and a “G” for Grace.
