Marianne Navasie was a daughter of Joy “Frog Woman” Navasie and a granddaughter of Paqua Naha. This is a classic large jar with a low shoulder and sloping sides. The jar is fully polished white and then painted with bee-weed. There are two sections with large double headed birds. Separating them are bands with stylized corn plants. The jar is black-and-white giving it a modern appearance. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.. It is signed on the bottom with a frog hallmark tadpoles off to the side on the jar.
