Marianne Navasie was a daughter of Joy “Frog Woman” Navasie and a granddaughter of Paqua Naha.  This jar is coil built and patined with bee-weed and red clay.  The design is a bird tail pattern.  The jar was traditionally fired.  It is signed on the bottom with her Frog and tadpole hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
