Glen Nipshank is known for the organic shapes of his pottery.  This tall jar has an asymmetrical form with a rounded base and long neck.  The base and sides are pushed in, challenging the strength of the clay walls.  The white clay adds additional shadows to the recessed sections.  Glen brings a fascinating non-pueblo perspective to Native pottery. The jar is from 2007 and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
