Doris Patricio was the matriarch of a family of exceptional potters, including Robert Patrico. Each piece is coil-built and painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips. This wedding vase has a classic shape with a round body and a twisted handle. The handle is slipped red. The body of the vase is polished white and has a classic Acoma eagle on each side. They are highlighted with a red clay slip. It is signed “D. Patricio”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
