Georgia Patricio is a daughter of Lucy Juanico and a granddaughter of Joselita Ray and learned to make pottery from her mother. Each piece is coil built and patined with wild spinach and clay slips. This jar has a round shape and a short neck. Patricia has painted spirals of feathers and bird wings encircling the jar. She has used a lighter red for this piece, which gives it a softer tone. It is a striking design that flows across the surface of the jar. It is signed on the bottom, “G. Patricio”.
