Georgia Patricio is a daughter of Lucy Juanico and a granddaughter of Joselita Ray and learned to make pottery from her mother.  Each piece is coil-built and patined with wild spinach (black) and clay slips.  This jar has a round body and an elongated neck.  The jar is fully painted from the rim to the base. There are swirling bands of lightning and bird wings.  It is a striking black-and-white design that starts small at the neck and gets larger near the body of the jar.  It is signed on the bottom, “G. Patricio”.
