Kylie Patricio (b. 1999) is a 25-year-old daughter of noted potter Robert Patricio.  This jar is coil built and thin-walled. It has a classic Acoma water jar shape and a high shoulder and short neck.  The jar is painted with bee-weed and two colors of clay. The design has four Acoma birds with flowers below a step design cloud pattern.  Separating them are checkerboard rain patterns.  ALong the neck are tiny plant and cloud patterns.  The lines are delicate and even.  It is a colorful design on a classic shape.  The jar is signed, “K. Patricio”.  It is exciting to see such excellent work by young Acoma potters!
