$ 250.00

June Pino Cheromiah is a granddaughter of Mary Antonio and a daughter of James Pino and Zelda Chaplin Pino.  She learned to make pottery from Rachel Concho, Paul Lucario, Mildred Antonio, and Barbara & Joseph Cerno. Each piece is coil-built from native clay and painted with bee-weed and clay slips.  This jar has a rain design below the mountains on the top of the shoulder.  It is slipped red.  Below are more detailed checkerboard patterns and plant designs. It is signed on the bottom, “June Pino”.
