This is a creative storyteller by Marilyn Henderson Ray.  She is known for her intricate storytellers and figurative scenes. This storyteller is from 2012. It has a drummer in a headdress with one child. There is a bird and ladybug in addition.  The top of the drum has a flute player.  The entire piece is painted with various clay slips.  The storyteller is signed on the bottom, “Marilyn Ray”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
