Jeff Roller creates exceptional traditional pottery and there is remarkable attention to the crisp carved lines in his work as well as an evenness to his stone polished surfaces. This bowl is deeply carved with a feather pattern and fully polished.  The shape of the feathers is very much like that of his mother, Toni.  The lid is made from native clay, which is technically difficult to carve.  The figure is a wild turkey, which is an important part of Pueblo ceremonies and culture.  The detail on the lid is extraordinary!  Simply amazing not just the form but the feathers and other details.   The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Jeff Roller”.  It is from2002.
