Toni Roller is known for her classic shapes and exquisite stone polished pottery.  A daughter of Margaret Tafoya, Toni has developed her own distinctive style.  This is a clay bird figure.  It is carved with lightning on the wings and clouds for the tail.  The entire piece is fully polished and fired a deep black.  It was made in 1974.  It is signed on the bottom, “Toni Roller”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
