Vernita Sakeva was a daughter-in-law of Beth Sakeva. This plate is made from red Hopi clay. There is a bird as the design. It is signed on the bottom, “Vernita Sakeva”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is definitely a piece of Hopi-Tewa history!
