Lilly Salvador is known for her thin-walled pottery and use of native materials to paint her designs.  This jar is painted with bee-weed and red clay.  The jar has a classic water jar shape.  There is an Acoma bird or Parrot on each side with flowers and they are under a double rainbow.  Separating the birds are rain designs.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “LS” and her hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
