Russell Sanchez continues to be one of the true innovators in Pueblo pottery.  Each piece is coil-built, stone-polished, and traditionally fired.  This small bowl is coil-built and fully polished red.  There is a bear and three bear paws etched into the clay.  Each bear paw is inset with a piece of turquoise, as is the bear.  There are hei-shi beads around the rim of the bowl.  The bowl is signed, “Russell Sanchez”.
