Stetson began making pottery at the age of 19.  This bowl has a fluted rim.  It is painted with a  frog and tadpoles in the center.  There is a water design around the rim and the fluted rim is meant to look like waves.  The bowl was painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips. There are strong blushes from the firing. It is signed on the bottom “S. Setalla” and his raincloud symbol.
