Stella Shutiva was renowned for her corrugated pottery.  Her style was inspired by pre-historic style corrugated vessels and a continuation of the pottery by her mother, Jessie Garcia.  This is a classic corrugated bowl.  There are 15 rows of coiling.  Each row is indented or pinched, into the clay to create the impressed design. The piece is signed, “S. Shutiva”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
