Mary Singer was known for her intricately carved pottery and figurative work.  This is one of her classic wedding vases.  The vase has a carved avanyu around the center. The spouts extend upward and are fully polished. The handle is twisted and it is also fully polished. The wedding vase was fired a deep black coloration.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  The piece is signed, “Mary Singer”.  While she no longer makes pottery, her work can be found in museums nationwide.
