Jerry Sisneros learned to make pottery from his mother, Olaria Sisneros.  He was never prolific but created well-polished and intricately painted pieces.  This bowl has is round and oval in shape.  There is an avanyu painted encircling the top of the shoulder.  The painting is complex and the bowl is highly polished to a glossy shine.  The painting leaves enough open polished space to reveal the highly polished surface.  The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Jerry Sisneros”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
