$ 450.00

Mary Small (b. 1940) is known for her traditional Jemez pottery.  It is not just her painting, which is distinctive, but the gray-colored clay that she uses is distinctive to her pottery.  This jar has a sharp shoulder and an elongated neck.  The neck of the jar is cut away to create a “kiva step” design.  Around the body of the jar are cloud and rain designs.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Mary Small”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
