Jason “White Eagle” Suazo is a son of noted potter Anita Suazo and grandson of Belen Tafoya Tapia (1914–1999). His wife, Lahoma Suazo, helps with the pottery-making process. This is a melon bowl with eight carved ribs. Each rib is rounded at the opening of the bowl. It is highly polished and fired a deep red coloration. The bowl is signed, “White Eagle, Lahoma Suazo”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
