Santanita Suazo was the mother of Margie Naranjo, Martha Huangooah, Mae Tapia, and Shirley Duran. This bowl is coil built, stone polished, painted, and traditionally fired a glassy black. The bowl has a sharp shoulder and sloping side. It is painted with rain and plant designs. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Santanita Suazo”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
