Dan Tafoya (1958-2016) was a son of Jose Daniel Tafoya Sr. and Billie Rose Tafoya.  He was a  brother of Matthew Tafoya, Phyllis Tafoya and, Lincoln Tafoya.  This tall jar is coil-built and fully polished. There is a Pueblo Ram Dancer on one side etched into the clay.  The piece was fired black.  It is signed on the bottom, “Dan Tafoya”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
