This is a classic long neck jar with a lid by Ray Tafoya. The jar is fully polished and fired a deep black coloration. There is a Mimbres rabbit on the side along with cloud, rain, and wind designs.  The neck has a feather pattern. The lid is in the shape of a bear.  The jar is highlighted with blue and red clay slips. The bear has attached coral and turquoise.  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay with his hallmark (meaning White Mountain) and the date.
