This seedpot by Ray Tafoya is fully polished and tall in shape.  It has a rabbit etched into each side.  One rabbit has a sun design next to it with an inset turquoise hei-shi bead.  The opposite side has a rabbit surrounded by plant designs.  The designs are etched into the clay and highlighted with additional colors of clay slips.  All the different colors are derived from natural clay slips.  The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom with his hallmark which means “White Mountain” in Tewa.
