Keith Tanin is a son of Margie Tanin and a nephew of potters Tina Diaz, Linda Cain, Joy Cain, and Billy Cain.  He is a grandson of Mary Cain and a great-grandson of Christina Naranjo.  This small jar is made from native clay and carved with an avanyu.  It is fully polished and fired a deep black coloration.  The piece is signed, “Keith Tanin”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
