Mary Edna Tenorio (b.1955) is a sister of Robert Tenorio, Paulita Pacheco, and Hilda Coriz.  This jar was made by Mary and painted by her brother, Robert Tenorio.  The jar has two large birds and flowers as the design.  There is a spirit line painted on the rim.  This is a design element almost always seen in traditional Kewa pottery. The jar is from 1999.  It is signed on the bottom and side in the clay, “Mary Edna Tenorio, painted by Robert”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
