This is a fully painted bowl by Robert Tenorio.  The jar is painted with wild spinach (black) and red clay slip.  The bowl is round and painted on the sides with four Big Horn Sheep as the design.  They are each minimalist in style and separated by a plant design.  The bowl is signed on the side in the clay, “Robert Tenorio, Santo Domingo”. Note the big dipper pattern, which Robert also etches into the designs of all his pottery as part of his signature.
