This is a four-color open bowl by Robert Tenorio.  It is coil-built and painted with wild spinach (black) and two clay slips on a white clay background. The bowl has a flower pattern in the center.  It spirals out with the petals making up various designs.  The center medallion is slipped with a copper-colored clay.  The outer rim of the bowl is painted red with a mountain design.  The bowl was traditionally fired.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Robert Tenorio, Kewa”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
